Building in Curl Curl
Curl Curl runs from sandstone hills in the south to the lagoon and Greendale Creek in the north. It is overwhelmingly family households, and the houses are working hard: more bedrooms, a better kitchen, somewhere to work from home.
Low-lying land around the lagoon was swamp until it was filled for parks and playing fields, so ground conditions and flooding are worth checking early. Up the hill the problem flips to slope and rock.

Can I add a second storey to my Curl Curl house?
Often, yes. It depends on the footings and frame, the height and setback controls, and overshadowing of neighbours. We check feasibility first, then design for the approval pathway.
Can we live in the house during the renovation?
Sometimes. For a top storey addition you will usually need to move out while the roof is off. For other work it can often be staged. We tell you which one your project needs.
Is Curl Curl flood prone?
Some land near Curl Curl Lagoon and Greendale Creek is affected by flood controls. The planning certificate for your property will say. If it is, it affects floor levels and the approval route.
