Tiny home builders in Sydney and on the South Coast

A tiny home only works if every square metre has been thought about. Storage, light, heating and the way the room changes from day to night are design problems, and they have to be solved before the build, not around it.

What it covers

Included in this service

01

Space planning

Layouts that make a small floor work hard: built-in storage, sleeping lofts and furniture made to fit.

02

The approval question

Whether a tiny home counts as a dwelling, a secondary dwelling or a moveable dwelling changes what approval it needs. We work that out with you before design starts.

03

Built like a house

Proper framing, insulation, waterproofing and glazing, so it is comfortable in winter and in summer.

04

Timber interiors and joinery

Lined ceilings, exposed beams and custom joinery by our own carpenters, as at Silent Echo, our cabin in Kangaroo Valley.

05

Services

Water, power and wastewater planned for the site, including rural and bush sites.

Why it matters

The difference one team makes.

A small home has no room for compromise. One team designs and builds it, so the storage, the joinery and the detailing are resolved on paper and built as drawn.

You get a complete itemised price before the job starts, a flexible pricing structure, one site supervisor who is on your job, a published programme with weekly reporting, and a defects walk with a twelve month check after you move in.

Silent Echo Cabin, Kangaroo Valley

Kangaroo Valley: Silent Echo Cabin

Architectural cabin

Silent Echo is Jared's own cabin in Kangaroo Valley, designed and built by Amity, one weekend at a time over two years. It was born from a simple idea: a place where time slows down, nature takes the lead, and life's simplest moments become the ones you remember most.
